Florida Coast Roadtrip

Florida Coast Roadtrip

A few weeks ago we took a week long adventure down the coast starting in Savannah and making it down to the tip of Florida and back. We traveled from one beach to the next, and since we would try to time the drives when the boys were asleep, we never knew how far we would get or where we would end up.  Which was the most exciting part... that and dipping into the warm ocean water, eating at all the authentic cuisines, sleeping in boutique hotels and airbnbs, seeing each areas unique vibe... okay, it was all exciting. And if you didn't follow along with me and the crew on insta stories, you can check out a few of my favorite pictures from our trip.

Happy Notes

Happy Notes

Because I’m happy... Even though my littlest one has been sick and sleeping on my lap while I work for the most of the day, he still asked to listened to happy more times than I can count. I am so thankful for the amount of smiles this little boy brings me.  But sometimes you, your friend, or even the stranger at the coffee shop needs a little reminder. So, download, print them, share them, use them as scratch paper.. whatever your heart desires (but with a smile on your face).

Our Mid Century Modern Remodel

We tore down walls, gutted the kitchen and bathrooms, got hardwood floors and new windows, remove all the paneling, install recessed lighting throughout and much much more.. so check out the before and after pics and let me know watcha think.

New Year's Eve: The Party Doesn't Stop

New Year's Eve: The Party Doesn't Stop

New Year's Eve is a tad different after you have kids. but that doesn't mean the party has to stop! Last year I found a great way to keep the little ones in the spirit and awake all the way to the new year!

To start the celebration, I tied up 7 balloons that each contained a piece of paper with an activity written on it.  Starting at 6 o'clock, I let them pop the first balloon and we read the activity aloud.  Each hour we would pop another balloon and enjoy the activity for the hour. After a few times of this they were counting down to the next time they got to pop the ballon! The last balloon that we poped at midnight was filled with confetti and special "happy new year" message. I broke down the activities by hour for you below.
